Gigaro Beach

The pure Mediterranean spirit

A natural beauty whose reputation is well established! Steeped in history with the Allied landings, Gigaro Beach has also been the setting for numerous film shoots. It marks the entrance to the Domaine du Cap Lardier, a protected natural area carefully maintained by the Port-Cros and Porquerolles National Park, in a lively area with restaurants, parking, and water sports!

There you will join the coastal path that will take you from coves to beaches, each as beautiful as they are wild. For the more curious, don’t miss the Sentier Marin, located a 20-minute walk away at Jovat Beach. Gigaro Beach offers superb views of the Îles d’Or and magnificent sunsets: a dream setting!

A true symbol of La Croix Valmer, Gigaro Beach is a place where nature expresses itself fully: golden sand, turquoise waters, and lush Mediterranean vegetation. It offers a setting that is both wild and accessible: the sea, the wind, and the flora compose a living tableau where each season reveals a new palette of colors and sensations. It is a place where people come to recharge their batteries, contemplate and feel: the lapping of the waves, the scent of pine trees warmed by the sun, the flight of seagulls above the capes…

Gigaro Beach embodies the true nature of La Croix Valmer: an authentic, unspoiled, and deeply Mediterranean area.

A bit of history: Gigaro Bay bears witness to an ancient wine-growing and maritime past linked to the life of the Ligurians and then to Greek and Roman trade in the gulf.
