The Tourist Office is working to bring a greener touch to its visitors’ holidays through awareness campaigns and environmental initiatives. Here are our tips and practical information for a stay that is “as responsible as possible”.

Since 2016, the Tourist Office has been offering comprehensive information on the environment, illustrated by themes such as ‘Eco friendly holidays’ . The aim of this initiative is to raise visitors’ awareness of environmental issues, including fire risks and restrictions on access to forest areas. Management of the beach weather forecast, available on the website in July and August. Finally, a wide range of documentation on sorting, recycling and eco-responsible behaviour is distributed in partnership with the Communauté de communes to help holidaymakers adopt a sustainable approach.
Eco-events and promoting the region :
The year 2023 marked a turning point for the promotion of local treasures through initiatives such as the “Richesses Croisiennes” festival, the “Soirée des étoiles” event, Posidonia Day, and “Des Chefs dans les Vignes.” These eco-events, organized by the Tourist Office, aim to raise public awareness of marine and terrestrial biodiversity. Audio guides were also created in 2023 to enhance the visitor experience.
In short, since 2017, a partnership with the Port-Cros National Park has enabled the development of guided themed walks, the creation of a marine trail, and the awarding of the “Esprit Parc national” (National Park Spirit) label to the guided sessions. An exhibition dedicated to the marine protected area, organized in 2023, highlighted the need to preserve these fragile ecosystems. In 2022, the Tourist Office signed the Act 4 Posidonia charter. For several years, it has also participated in the Sustainable Development Days, initiated by the local authority’s environmental department.
Sustainable mobility & transport
The destination is committed to promoting sustainable mobility. This includes encouraging the use of public transport and promoting the free summer shuttle service.

The maps and publications also include precise information on the location of electric charging stations, making it easier to use these vehicles. These measures aim to reduce environmental impact while offering a sustainable alternative to traditional motorized transport.

The Tourist Office also contributes to the purchase of urban mobility solutions, including bicycle parking and self-service repair stations in the village. Consult the “En 2 Roues” brochure for useful information, rental companies, routes, and more.

Labels promotions
The Tourist Office strives to promote the destination’s offerings to both visitors and professionals. The recognition and accreditation obtained by the municipality, the Tourist Office, and local service providers is a guarantee of quality and commitment from all stakeholders.
