The Brouis Beach

The discreet charm of a secret spot

A paradise beach, a secluded cove away from the hustle and bustle, accessible via the coastal path, a 45-minute walk from Gigaro—cut off from the world, nestled between the better-known beaches of Héraclée and Sylvabelle, Plage des Brouis is a small, peaceful, discreet cove that is still unknown to the general public. It is an ideal place for those seeking peace, nature, and authenticity. Surrounded by cliffs, pine trees, and heather, it offers a typically Mediterranean setting bathed in the scents of the maquis and the sound of the waves.

Brouis Beach is undeveloped: just the sea, sand, and light—that’s what makes it so appealing. It offers the perfect setting for a moment of timeless relaxation… The water is clear and the seabed varied, making it a popular spot for swimmers and snorkelers looking to immerse themselves in marine life.
It is a beach where nature reigns supreme and where you can feel all the serenity of La Croix Valmer’s true nature: a simple, unspoiled place where you can reconnect with the essentials.

A little history: its name, “Brouis,” comes from the vegetation that grows on the surrounding hillsides, linked to the heather and shrubs typical of the Provençal maquis.

Be sure to bring your sneakers, a hat, your picnic lunch, and water.

Dogs are allowed on the coastal path, kept on a lead, but are not allowed in the swimming area
