Since spring 2024, Destination d’Excellence has replaced Qualité Tourisme. The government wanted to strengthen the ‘quality’ criteria but, above all, to supplement the standards with an eco-responsible pillar: all the certification criteria focus in particular on the quality of the welcome and services provided. They also focus on the level of requirements for measures taken to protect the environment and promote eco-responsible tourism.

Created in 2015, the Esprit Parc national brand is shared by the economic players in France’s ten national parks. It is designed to support and promote economic, tourist and agricultural activities that respect and enhance local heritage.

Created in 2003, Tourisme & Handicap is a state label managed by Atout France since May 2024. It is currently the only certification dedicated to tourist accessibility for people with disabilities and is unique in the world. 

Its aim is to encourage tourism professionals to adapt their offerings and ensure that everyone is welcome. It supports tourism facilities in making themselves accessible, while providing a clear and reassuring benchmark for visitors with disabilities.

Created in 2009, the Vignobles & Découvertes label is awarded to a wine tourism destination offering a wide range of complementary tourist products (accommodation, restaurants, cellar visits, events, etc.) to help customers organise their stay and direct them to qualified services.

To obtain the label, establishments must meet specific criteria, including :

  • access to suitable facilities (bike parking, repair kit, water supply, etc.)
  • useful information and advice for cyclists
  • dedicated services (battery charging facilities, etc.)
  • location close to a cycle route

This label is open to tourist accommodation providers, bicycle hire and repair companies, tourist offices, visitor and leisure sites, restaurants and river ports.

A label of excellence promoting sustainable tourism.
For over 20 years, La Clef Verte has been recognising tourist establishments (accommodation and catering) committed to rigorous environmental standards and responsible practices. Promoted in France by the Teragir association, this international label embodies an ambitious vision of tourism, combining quality, responsibility and sustainable development.

Rencontres du tourisme croisien

Since 2017, as the season draws to a close, the Tourist Office has been keen to showcase all the region’s economic players. To do this, it organises the Rencontres du Tourisme Croisien. The aim is to provide an informal, friendly opportunity to meet up, look back on the season and talk to other professionals. It’s an opportunity for professionals from the Croisières tourist industry to share their impressions of the season, raise any issues they have encountered, and talk about their expectations and those of their customers.
