Having lived here for several years, I have come to know each estate, all unique yet linked by a common character. I enjoy talking about them because they embody the history and soul of our region, and I am particularly drawn to organic and sustainable practices, convinced that wine should be made in harmony with nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’m often asked which vineyard to recommend for a tasting, but why not discover them all in one day ? Especially since the La Croix Valmer Tourist Office, a certified “Vignobles & D\u00e9couvertes<\/em>” destination, highlights authentic and accessible wine tourism experiences. Here, cycle paths make it easy to connect the three wine estates. So, I suggest a day dedicated entirely to cycling and vineyards, visiting Ch\u00e2teau de Chausse, Domaine de La Croix, and Domaine de La Madrague !<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Ch\u00e2teau de Chausse: between terroir and oenological experiences<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The day will begin at the Ch\u00e2teau de Chausse, a choice that is far from insignificant, you will understand why shortly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taken over in 2015 by Charles Cohen, a passionate lover of Provence, the estate has undergone a complete modernization, both in its infrastructure and its production. Today, visitors come as much for the quality of its wines as for the beauty of the surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This 22 hectare vineyard, certified organic since 2018, is renowned for its age-worthy reds and barrel-aged wines. But it also offers refreshing cuv\u00e9es and ros\u00e9s perfect for summer. In 2026, its wines received numerous awards, notably at the Concours G\u00e9n\u00e9ral Agricole de Paris and the Vignerons Ind\u00e9pendants competition, earning a score of 91\/100 from Decanter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s therefore a good idea to arrive at the estate at 10:30 am, as that’s when the tour with the Technical Manager begins (reservations required). This immersive experience, lasting a few hours, will allow you to discover wine from every angle: a walk through the vineyards to understand the soils, the grape harvest, and the language of the leaves\u2026 In the cellar, you’ll learn about the transformation of grapes into wine and its aging: the art of oenology. The tour will conclude with a tasting of the estate’s wines, allowing you to appreciate the results of a year’s work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What makes this experience unique is that it’s guided by the person who crafts the wine daily, offering an in-depth knowledge of the terroir. It’s an ideal way to begin a day of wine tasting, (re)discovering wine from a new perspective.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Domaine de La Croix: the winemaking heritage of La Croix Valmer<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our next stop is the Domaine de La Croix, the historic estate of La Croix Valmer, around which the village was built.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a vineyard of about one hundred hectares that runs all the way to the sea, shaping our iconic landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since its acquisition by the Bollor\u00e9 Group in 2001, the family has made long-term investments in the estate, which has undergone a complete vineyard renewal and major technological investments, such as the creation of a state-of-the-art 3,500 m\u00b2 winery, buried 8 meters underground. Their range of wines in three colors, from the lightest and fruitiest to the most gastronomic, even includes a sparkling ros\u00e9 that I particularly love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I love the exceptional location of the terrace, which gives the impression of being privileged for the duration of a tasting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s what I recommend you book! The tasting room is remarkably authentic, but if it’s possible to discover their ranges in the shade of a flowery veranda, with a breathtaking view of the vineyards, why refuse?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In fact, many couples choose to celebrate their wedding there, as do companies that organize their events. The estate offers its gardens and terrace for hosting and creating beautiful moments. Summer or winter, its charm remains the same.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Domaine de La Madrague: elegant wines overlooking the sea<\/em><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This vineyard, which is fortunate enough to enjoy this view daily, is the Domaine de La Madrague.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attached to the land and traditions, Jean-Marie Zodo acquired this estate in 2007, complemented in 2014 by a second estate in the hills of Champagne (G\u00e9rin & fils), with the ambition of building a unique heritage over generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having been in organic farming since its inception, the estate combines a modern cellar with meticulous attention to its 30 hectares of vines, crowned by awards such as gold and silver medals at Vinalies France in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The anecdote I like most about this estate is that the wines are named after the owner’s daughters, and more recently, his grandsons. As for the wines themselves, they offer a beautiful expression of the terroir, characterized by abundant sunshine and proximity to the sea. White, ros\u00e9, or red, all are distinguished by their balance, elegance, and freshness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But I’ll let you discover all that for yourself by booking a cellar tour and tasting (45 min). It’s the perfect way to learn about the history and the wines, with the added bonus of savory spreads that pair perfectly with the vintages. The best part is finishing the tasting on the garden furniture before leisurely hopping back on your bike. Just before leaving, you absolutely must try their honey, it’s de-li-cious !<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

And so ends our wine tour by bike. For the more motivated and athletic among you, I recommend one last winery. It’s accessible by bike via Cap Lardier, and part of their vineyards are located in La Croix Valmer.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n

Domaine La Tourraque: the alliance of know-how and biodiversity<\/em><\/strong><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A family estate since 1805, Domaine La Tourraque cultivates 30 hectares using organic farming methods, in the heart of the protected site of the Three Capes and the Port-Cros National Park. The estate therefore divides its vineyards between Ramatuelle and La Croix Valmer. Attentive to their environment, they preserve their soils through the planting of suitable cover crops, beneficial to both the vines and the surrounding biodiversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This philosophy is reflected in their wines; between generational know-how and recent winemaking techniques, the Brun-Craveris family perfectly masters the characteristics of their terroir and offers us wines of great quality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In each vintage, you can find a freshness brought by the winds of the Mediterranean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
