Suggestion : Start off the hike around 11:00 am for a lunch break in one of the restaurants Plage du Débarquement
Follow the blue markings. At the roundabout of La Croix, in front of the Tourist Office, take the pedestrian underpass. Take Boulevard Tabarin towards Tabarin - Vergeron - Gigaro. Stay on the right-hand side sidewalk. Turn right Rue de l’Eglise. At the church, enjoy the view, take a few minutes to visit it or turn right. At the next intersection, turn right and immediately left, signs will indicate Plage. Walk alongside the vineyards on your left. At Chemin de la Pierre Plantée, take the asphalted road in front of you. At the intersection, turn left Voie Verte. Follow the path and enjoy the view of the village on your left. After the vineyards, enjoy the view on the village or walk through the Parcours de santé on your right (you will catch up with the path). Further on, cross the brook on your left and follow the path on your right alongside the vineyards. Cross the second stream and take the path in front of you. Walk past Allée du Bois du Manège. You now have two options to walk back up to the village :
1/ Take the same path
2/ Turn right to follow the pedestrian footpath. At Rond-point du Débarquement, enjoy a short break Plage du Débarquement, historical location of D-Day and named after August 15th 1944. Head back to Rond-point du Débarquement on the left-hand side sidewalk and take the pedestrian underpass. Turn left Boulevard de la Mer following the sidewalk. At Camping Selection, cross the street to follow the pedestrian lane. At Camping CGU, cross the street again and turn right, following the pedestrian lane. At the intersection with Chemin de Provence, turn right towards Le Village. Chemin de Provence is the former railway route known as the Train des Pignes : from 1890 to 1945, a train circulated between Toulon and Saint-Raphaël (nowadays replaced by a bus service). After the bridge, follow the sidewalk. Cross Boulevard de Tahiti and cross the street on your right. Walk alongside the children’s playground, on your left the swimming pool and Villa Turquoise. Walk up straight ahead, you will arrive Place des Palmiers, facing the Tourist Office.
