The sea at your feet…

A sandy beach, supervised in season, with a light slope into the water and shops close by, forever marked by history, all of this close to the Conservatoire du Littoral : Discover Plage du Débarquement ! If you are looking for a natural beach, even more authentic with shops and restaurants, Plage de Gigaro is the entrance gate to the “Parc National de Port Cros”. Smaller beaches are worth discovering : Sylvabelle, Brouis, Briande…names that sound like an invitation to “farniente”. What are you waiting for ?!

Dogs are strictly forbidden on our beaches.

La Croix Valmer is proud to say it has been flying the "Pavillon Bleu" flag for many years. It has an office that checks the quality of the water – see the websites “Observatoire Marin" and "Préservation du milieu".From mid-June to mid-September, free bus shuttles run daily from the village to the beaches and to different parts of the village centre and surrounds.

Plage de Gigaro

The Plage de Gigaro is the last established beach before the National Park- the "Conservatoire du littoral". There are activities, water sports and restaurants. Located 4km from the village, this beach is supervised all summer (+33 (0)4.94.79.62.68). The Plage de Gigaro also has access for disabled people.



 

Plage d'Héraclée

With a wilder aspect, this beach is wonderfully open. Enjoy spectacular dawns & dusks... smaller, and with limited space, but the quality of the beach is worth it. There are restaurants on the beach.



 

Plage du Débarquement

This historical beach offers a wonderful view of Cavalaire Bay. Located about 2km from the village, this beach is supervised by lifeguards all summer (+33 (0)4.94.79.66.03). Here you will find activities, water sports, shops and restaurants. There is also a pier for the Boat Ferries to the islands of Iles d'Or.



 

Plage des Brouis

Put on good shoes and do not forget to take water with you... For this paradise, you will have to walk but, once you reach it….. peace and serenity are what you will discover. This beach is located at the heart of the "Conservatoire du Littoral", so enjoy your stay there...

Plage de Sylvabelle

Smaller and more discrete, only those who aren’t worried by stairs will choose this beach. Protected from the wind, you can enjoy its calmness and sun. It is located 2km from the village, with no shops or services.
