Do you have difficulties to move ? If you call the C.C.A.S., “Allô navette” will transport you frome home to the village.
A new mobility aid tool
Managed by the Transports department until now, “Allô navette” is since mid-September 2016 overseen by the C.C.A.S.. This service consist in accompanying people with mobility difficulties with an adapted mean of transport. “Our goal is to break the isolation of the most fragile persons on our territory” explains the C.C.A.S. manager, Christelle Roux.
As a matter of fact, this service is for people with difficulties to move.
Whoever wants to benefit this service has to call the C.C.A.S., at least the day before the ride. For an hour, the person may meet its personal activities with or without the help of a C.C.A.S. agent. The trip begins at the house of the requester and goes to the village.
But a strong collaboration has been settled between the town hall and the taxi companies, so that the little rides could be undertaken : “ The taxi companies committed to undertake those rides for those people on Sundays. They will be chargeable, as the taxi companies will ensure the transport. Our role is to forward the requests and make sure the persons in need have answers” explains Christelle Roux.
